I’ve visited Auchingarrach Wildlife Park many times and they have a falconry where you can hold eagles, owls and other birds of prey. I’ve held several of the birds there and had my photos taken with them. It’s one of the many fond memories I have of Auchingarrach :)

My first two pets were 2 dogs, Ben and Charlie. Ben was a spaniel cross and Charlie could only be described as a wolf. I also had many stick insects that I kept as pets. I also had a pet butterfly until one day when it flew out of the window!
I didn’t have any pets for a long while until I got a hamster and my sister got one too. My hamster was called Toffee and my sister’s was Baby. We also got another hamster a few years later called Tiger. My sister briefly owned a cat which she had gotten from one of the cats on her boyfriend’s farm called Noah. We had him for a few months but due to busy uni schedules, we had to re-home him.
We now own a tri-coloured border collie called Alfie who we’ve had for nearly 6 years. He’s a fat, grumpy old man but will do any trick you want for some food!

I milked a cow while over at my sister’s boyfriend’s farm in Northern Ireland in the summer of 2011. I used machinery to do it but I still managed to get shit on by one of the cows. Very unpleasant.

I’ve held a snake when I was quite young. I remember thinking ‘this feels disgusting’ but it’s an experience none the less. I overcame a fear of snakes although I still fear the venomous ones.

I learned how to ride a horse 2 summers ago. The most I can do is a trot so I still need to learn how to canter and gallop. It’s a lot of fun but you end up in so much pain for days after it!
